Since I'm a dedicated Impetus player my choices are set and I have 12 figures per base but thinking about 14 might be better per base...<br /><br />In your case 4 figures per base on a 40x40 always gives the most options to tailor unit sizes to whichever rule set your playing that day, but the 8 figures on a 60 x 20 gives more of a solid pike look.
