III/71 Anglo-Danish

1014 AD - 1075 AD

DBA 2.2

15mm Essex Miniatures

Army Composition: 1 x (Gen) 4Bd, 2 x 4Bd, 8 x 4Sp, 1 x 2Ps or 4Sp

Despite my recent (10 days agodouble Hernia surgery. I manage to finish off this army I wasn't to sure about the shield patterns, but most of them are "guess work" patterns :o) my flocking of the bases are some what mediocre.  ,..anyway... slowly getting back to the rhythm of preparing/painting figures. Currently working on the Vikings and at a later stage more Impetus Gothic units to come i.e. Cavalry!......

A brief History Link of Who were the Anglo - Danes?

Norse Mercenaries (2Ps & 4Sp)

  7. Beautiful army! One thing about 15's - lifting them isn't a problem postop, unlike some 28's!

    1. :o) well, I have a small soft pillow attached around my belly, to help reduce the stress level (after popping Oxycodone acetaminophen and Naproxen sodium pills)...so :o) lifting 28's and 15's will be much in a comfort zone around my belly.... am I making any sense with this reply message post? :o)

      cheers,

    1. Thanks Lawrence, you must be busy with real life and/or playing table top battles with your 15's and 28's armies, don't see any update postings at your blog lately?...

      cheers,

    2. That's the strangest thing Phil, in that I have finally managed a post and opened it with a comment about how real life gets in the way sometimes, and then came back and read your comment. It gave me a chuckle, I can tell you.
