Very cool, Phil! The red jacket with cornflower blue facings and white webbing is a handsome combination. Excellent! Why does one trooper in the back rank carry a blue portmanteau when his buddies all have red? Trying to be make a statement?
Thanks Jon!As for the blue portmanteau, I mounted the trooper on the wrong horse! The officer should be riding with the blue portmanteau! :o)) Also the trumpeter should have red plume instead of white..... corrections have be made....... oh Nurse! :o)cheers,

The Saxon Cavalry are glorious, and you've done them justice here - I especially like the oak leaf pattern on the officer's shako.Just need at least one unit of heavies to go with them! :-)
