ACW Old Glory 2nd Edition

These 28mm Old Glory American Civil War Miniatures are nice to have in anyone's ACW collection, the figures mix in well with other manufactures, perhaps a little taller and slim, but they do paint up quickly. The figures below are mounted on 40mm x 40mm bases with my moderate quality flocking :o) I also have this tendency, which is a little embarrassing on my part, of not putting standard bearers/flags together for my figures. I should really push myself to work on putting flags together for my figures/units perhaps during Fall/Winter...anyway... also these figures were painted by me during August, this year and plum forgot to publish the post here at my blog!.....oops! :o)

  5. Wonderful painting Phil! ACW is what got me started on the road of painting and tabletop gaming. I think 28mm is ideal.

What other surprises do you you have in store for us? Wait, don't tell me as it won't be a surprise if you do.

    1. Thanks Monty, These ACW Old Glory 2nd Edition figures were great to paint up so much it gave me the incentive to "try" and finish off the 800 x 25mm Sash and Saber Union figures I have sitting on my work bench waiting to be "Glorified" with my painting skills/style during Fall/Winter...... :o)

  6. Very nice work on these ACW figs, Phil. I am a fan of Old Glory as you know. Professionally speaking, though, I do think that you need to seek some treatment for your Vexilophobia!. :-)

  7. Great looking ACW troops, Phil! I like the OG 1st Ed. Napoleonics I have better than their 2nd Ed - which are a bit smaller. As you said OG mixes well with other makes - and the price is hard to beat. Best, Dean

    1. Thanks Dean, I concur 1st and 2nd Old glory Edition miniatures are great value for money if one has Old Glory Army membership. I notice OG Ancients to Medieval/Renaissance ranges are great figures nicely sculpt with great detail, but their 1st Ed Seven Years War - Napoleonic's - ACW are shocking and/or badly sculpt in my opinion......anyway,... thanks again Dean

      cheers,
