Thanks Jon, I do feel better posting again, painted many new 15mm DBA and 28mm Impetus armies/units. It may cost me time to post new blog listings during the year though! :o) ... oh by the way I played (2) solo CCA games using DBA armies/elements instead of CCA game blocks, the 15mm minis do give that extra eye candy/visual effect on the board map anyway it was fun!
CCA in 15mm is fun too! Scott has ancients armies in 15mm and 28mm and both have been used in CCA games in miniature. Do you have BatReps of your solo games? Next time I am over on your side of the State, maybe we can get in a game or two?
Thanks Mike! umm..as for the purple shields I think you are right, I got carried away painting all "unhistorical" shields purple! :o) Have a look at my DBA 2.2 Kassite and Later Babylonian a little closer to historical?
Great looking Babylonian DBA army, Phil! Love the colors - looks striking.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean, love your Celtic Invasion of Macedonia post - awesome painted 28mm figures - sublime!
Deletecheers,
Great to see you back to posting photos of your armies, Phil! I think your Babylonians look fab.
